About Us
At FlyWays we are a young, energetic and experienced team. All the lodges are run by owners, rather than managers. These partners are all between the ages of 36-41. Each one has been in the dove shooting business for over 10 years. So you will find people who are fun, passionate about their “job” and very experienced.
David Perez – David is the general partner at all 4 operations and is in charge of all sales. David was born in the US and has lived in South America for the past 12 years. David previously worked in the investment banking industry at Credit Suisse First Boston. David is married with his lovely wife Claudia.
Alex Mitri – Alex is the managing partner at Los Chanares. Alex runs the Los Chanares lodge seven days a week 24/7. Alex was born in Colombia and moved to Argentina in 2004. Alex previously worked with Erland Von Schneidern dove shooting business. Alex is married to Jessica Ciappa and they have two very cute kids – Anthony and Felipe.
Jessica Ciappa – Jessica is the managing partner at Los Chanares. Along with Alex she runs the Los Chanares lodge with a particular emphasis on the lodging and food part of the business. Jessica was born in Tandil, Argentina and married Alex in December 2004. Thankfully they are very happily married!
Juan Jose Sala aka JJ – JJ is the managing partner at Sierra Brava Lodge. JJ runs the Sierra Brava operation with incredible attention to detail. JJ was born in Cordoba, Argentina and started Sierra Brava in 2001. JJ previously worked as an attorney. He is happily married with five kids! He might need more equity ownership to support FIVE kids.
Zvonko Ravnik aka Topo – Topo is a partner at Sierra Brava Lodge. Topo is the life of the party at Sierra Brava. Topo was born in Cordoba, Argentina and started Sierra Brava along with JJ. Topo previously started various tourism-based companies. Topo is happily married to the chief legal counsel for Argentina’s largest local company. They have 2 wonderful kids, one who plays semi-professional soccer.
Leonardo Foresti aka Leo – Leo is the managing partner at Posta del Norte. Leo runs Posta del Norte with a relaxed yet efficient manner. Leo was born in Brazil and moved to Argentina at a young age. Leo previously ran Posta del Norte for Cordoba Outfitters (Manuel Lainez). Leo is happily married with two cute kids!
Franca di Rienzo – Franca is the head of logistics at all our lodges. She makes sure everything runs smoothly. Franca was born in Cordoba, Argentina and was number one in her class at school (JJ studied with her and was not close to number one!) Franca lives in Cordoba and is happily married with 4 kids.
Soledad Ballester – Soledad is the latest addition to the FlyWays family and is charge of all direct sales and logistics. Soledad was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She previously worked six years at Argentina Outfitters. Soledad enjoys cooking and travelling. Soledad is married and lives in Buenos Aires.
