Temperatures will be upper 80s during the day and drops down to mid-60s overnight. It does rain during January, but usually at night. Even though you will find the hottest temperatures of the year, you will also be shooting in the month that most records are broken. This is as high volume as it gets due to the long days. Temperatures will be upper 80s during the day and drops down to mid-60s overnight. It does rain during February, but usually at night. Even though the daytime temperatures will be hot, you will also be shooting in the month that most records are broken. This is as high volume as it gets due to the long days. Temperatures will be lower 80s during the day and drops down to lower 60s overnight. It does rain during March, but usually at night. At Los Chanares you will be shooting the sunflower fields. At Posta del Norte you will most likely be driving to the harvest fields with tons of birds. The drives will be short at Los Chanares and relatively long at Posta del Norte. Temperatures will be upper 70s during the day and drops down to mid 50s overnight. It does rain during April, but usually at night. Please note we close Los Chanares April 10. This is the end of the sunflower season at Los Chanares. Only Posta del Norte is open after April 10 since this lodge is closest to the harvest fields with tons of birds. It hardly rains during May. Please note we close Los Chanares in May. Posta del Norte is open as they are closest to the harvest fields with tons of birds. This is field shooting at its best. Temperatures will be mid 60s during the day and drops down to lower 40s overnight. It hardly ever rains during June. Beautiful sunny, crisp days with zero humidity. Los Chanares opens after June 15. This is the end of the harvest season and the birds will be returning to the roosting areas. This means the drives are variable. Could be 15 minutes, but sometimes 45-60 minutes. Temperatures will be mid 60s during the day and drops down to lower 40s overnight. It does not rain in July. Beautiful sunny, crisp days with zero humidity. The birds are back from the harvest in the roosts. They are the most mature and big birds you will find in the year as these birds have survived the harvest season. Please note Posta del Norte drives are 30 minutes on average.

Posta del Norte is the right fit for you. With only four people, you can book the whole lodge for your private use. The lodge has 6 rooms and there is no extra charge for private rooms which means there are less people, which provides a more private setting.

Los Chanares is the best fit for you. Los Chanares’ game management program is unique in Cordoba and we plant sunflowers only for the birds. The scenery is breath-taking and the volume of birds is as concentrated as it gets. One of the most fun experiences you will ever have in life!
